  Director

Where we believe it is our privilege to provide opportunities for every child to reach their maximum learning potential while developing a love for school. I have been dedicated to early childhood education for as long as I can remember. I am thrilled to be the Director of Christ Lutheran Children’s Center!

I moved to North Carolina to obtain my Master’s degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education at UNC Wilmington. I met my husband, Mark, and moved to Texas for 15 years where I taught in the elementary school classroom for many years. I then moved on to writing a preschool curriculum and that led me to help open a brand new preschool, where I stayed on as their Director.  I was then able to be a stay at home mom to my two wonderful kids before returning to be a Director again at a church preschool. We moved back to North Carolina and I returned to the classroom to teach kindergarten for a little while. It gave me the opportunity to see the new technology used in learning, feel the needs of the teacher side again and have a refreshed view of where children are headed after they leave CLCC. It was then that I felt called to go back to my love of early childhood and called to Christ Lutheran Children’s Center. Serving the children, families and staff and creating an environment where everyone can thrive is something I strive for every day.

I have been married to my husband, Mark, for 17 amazing years. Our daughter, Kaitlyn, is 15 and an avid dancer. Our son, Ryan, is 13 and a diehard baseball player. We love to spend our free time boating on the lake when we can sneak some time in between dance and baseball tournaments!

Early childhood education is my true passion! The children, the families and the staff will always be my utmost priority. It is an absolute blessing to be part of Christ Lutheran and a joy to work alongside such amazing women!

We look forward to having you become part of the CLCC Family!
